History and architecture
The station opened in December 1984 with the first section of the line and offers a transfer to Paxtakor. Architects Ya. Mansurov and V. Makhmudov roofed the hall with arches and domes that recall medieval monumental architecture. Cobalt-glazed ceramic reliefs, made with the painter Chingiz Akhmarov, show scenes from Navoi's "Khamsa", and girih and islimi ornament decorates the interior.
Named after the poet Alisher Navoi. One of the most ornate stations, with domes and ornaments.
