History and architecture
Named after the old bazaar above it, the station was built by cut-and-cover right through the market square in the late 1980s, while the bazaar itself was being rebuilt, and opened in 1989. The platform is clad in white Gazgan marble with a grey granite floor, and the track walls carry turquoise-and-white reliefs, "Ecology" and "Link of Times", by the artist Yu. Kim. One of its two vestibules is at street level.
"Four ways" (from Persian), meaning a crossroads. Exit to the famous Chorsu Bazaar and the old town.
