History and architecture
In 1977 this was the northern terminus of the first section, then called October Revolution. It became Markaziy Xiyoboni in 1992 and has carried the name of Amir Temur Square since 1993. The columns are faced with white Nurota marble and the track walls with reddish Gʻozgʻon marble; embossed copper panels on revolutionary themes were removed after independence. Transfer here to Yunus Rajabiy.
