History and architecture
The terminus opened in March 2024, linking the Circle line with the Sergeli branch. A paid transfer to Chinor runs over a footbridge across Qipchoq Street that doubles as a pedestrian crossing. The Qipchoq (Kipchaks) were a Turkic tribe first recorded by the Persian geographer Ibn Khordadbeh. The name was originally planned for the neighbouring station, which became Chinor.
