Tuzel metro station

History and architecture

It stands on Ohangaron road at the Tuzel turn, where Birlashgan, Choʻlpon and Beshariq streets meet it, and is named after the Tuzel housing estate. The first section of the line was due to open on 21 March 2020, but the pandemic pushed the launch back to 30 August. A couple of hundred metres away is Yangiobod farmers' market, which is closer to Tuzel than to Yangiobod station.

Named after the Tuzel residential area.
