History and architecture

The station sits where Ohangaron road crosses the Tashkent Ring Road, by the junction known as the Rohat roundabout; back in 2017 the builders described the first section as running from Doʻstlik to Qoʻyliq market via this roundabout. Opposite is the former Motor Plant, and a few hundred metres away lie Lake Baxt and Tarnaushtepa, a settlement mound of the 6th–10th centuries.
