History and architecture

The station opened in 1977 as Komsomolskaya, became Yoshlik ('Youth') in 1992 and in 2005 took the name of the neighbouring National Park. The walls are faced with red marble and the columns with pink Gʻozgʻon marble; the widened beams above them are shaped as arches with carved ganch plaster. The southern entrance hall was closed from 1992, and its restoration began in 2024.
