History and architecture

This elevated station opened on 26 December 2020 together with the rest of the Sergeli extension, which linked the densely populated Sergeli district with the city centre: trains run straight through to Buyuk Ipak Yoʻli. Until 2023 the station was designated '3-bekat' (Station 3). Its exits lead to Mirzo Tursunzoda and Mehrigiyo streets, next to the Sergeli-7 bus terminus.

Named after the Sergeli district.
