History and architecture

Turon is the Uzbek form of Turan, a historical region of Central Asia named in the Avesta and Middle Persian writings. The station is on Qipchoq Street near its junction with Sofdil and Yangi Sergeli streets. Trains ran through it without passengers from 15 December 2023, and it opened to the public on 11 March 2024.
