History and architecture

The only station in the Tashkent Metro with a curved platform, laid out along an arc. The high-tech interior follows the theme 'Yunusobod, the blossoming edge of Tashkent': the single row of columns down the platform is meant to suggest flowering trees, and six decorative compositions line the track walls. It opened in 2020; in December 2019 a ground collapse during construction killed six workers.

Named after the Yunusobod district.
