History and architecture

One of five elevated stations on the Sergeli extension, which opened on 26 December 2020. Until August 2023 it was known only as '4-bekat' (Station 4), although the 2019 plans called it Afrosiyob. The current name means 'new life'; the same name was given to a district of Tashkent created in 2020.

'New Life'. In the plans the station was called 'Afrosiyob', then 'Ekhtirom'.
